Our name is inspired by our long-standing commitment to be nurturing, supportive forces for good in the lives of children and families. We honor our past while promising a commitment to the future to break the cycle of abuse. As we practice generational innovation, we create new systems and re-engineer existing systems. This approach has helped children and families thrive for more than 138 years, and we won’t relent.
Our History
Second Chances Foster Care LLC was founded in Dallas–Fort Worth, Texas, with one simple belief — that every child deserves a safe, stable, and loving home, and every family deserves the chance to make a difference. From the beginning, our mission has been clear — to provide children with a second chance at a better future and to support families who open their homes and hearts to them. We believe meaningful change happens one child, one family, and one community at a time.
Today, Second Chances Foster Care LLC continues to grow, guided by our core values of compassion, integrity, and commitment. Whether through family recruitment, community partnerships, or individualized support for each child, we’re here to make a lasting impact — one placement at a time.
